Asparagus thrives well in bright indirect Light. Direct sunlight can be detrimental.
Water
Water in a regular interval as it loves being in a moisture but less in quantity. However Water should be applied only when the top inch of the Soil gets dry as excess Water can cause adverse impact on the plant health.
Soil
The Soil need to be fertile and well drained where there is no water logging. Fertile soil rich in humus can be prepared.
Fertilizer
Asparagus is a relatively heavy feeder. While the spring top-dressing will feed and add organic matter to the asparagus patch, you'll get even better results if you feed Lightly in early spring and again in mid-summer with a high-phosphorus organic Fertilizer, like fish meal, which has a typical NPK value of 8-12-2.
